Naturism

For more than 35 years, this little paradise hidden in the Dordogne has been a 100% naturist place. Relax naked under the sun, in the middle of nature, forests and meadows.

In 1974, the International Naturist Federation described naturism as follows: "Naturism is a way of life in harmony with nature characterised by the practice of communal nudity with the intention of encouraging self-respect, respect for others and for the environment." This definition has not changed since.

In "naturism" and "nudism" you walk naked, but the two words do not have the same meaning. Nudism can be described as being naked for the sake of being naked. In "naturism" there is the word "nature". If you consider yourself a naturist, you tend to be more connected to nature and have more respect for your fellow man.

There are many people who go to the sauna or to a nudist beach but have never been to a naturist campsite. Nude camping has an extra dimension that you don't have at nude beaches or at the sauna. Nude camping gives you an unparalleled feeling of freedom and equality. At a nude campsite, you stay for a certain amount of nights while you spend only a few hours at the nude beach or sauna. That way, you can get to know your neighbours, chat in the sanitary buildings or on the cosy bar terrace, enjoy a meal in the restaurant (with or without clothes) or experience nature and peace in a more intimate way. Every naturist and would-be naturist eventually finds his way on a nudist campsite.

We welcome all naturists licensed or not and make the following undertakings with regard to the practice of naturism, personal security and the protection of the environment.

  • Promote the practice of a healthy, natural and family naturism.
  • Show tolerance and respect for all.
  • Take care to respect nudity whilst showing consideration and understanding for the adolescents.
  • Be open and helpful to people who may be apprehensive about trying naturism.
  • Guarantee the tranquillity of naturist holidaymakers whilst also organising sporting or cultural activities for those who desire them.
  • Ensure a secure feeling to everyone. Any voyeurism of exhibitionism is absolutely not tolerated.
  • Inform holidaymakers ways in which they can enjoy naturism throughout the year by introducing them to the national and international network: Clubs, Associations, Federations.
  • Respect and preserve nature, protect the environment by encouraging economy of energy and water.
  • Promoting cultural and touristic attractions in the environment of the campsite.
